The Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal, has approved the early payment of February salaries and pensions for civil servants and retirees to help them prepare for the Ramadan period.
The directive instructs the State Accountant General to release the funds promptly so that workers and pensioners can make necessary arrangements for the holy month.
The announcement was made through a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Mahmud Dantawasa, emphasizing the administration’s concern for the welfare of workers and retirees.
Governor Lawal also called on the public, particularly Muslims, to pray for peace, unity, and development in the state, while wishing the Muslim community a blessed and spiritually fulfilling Ramadan.
