Israeli Strikes in Gaza Kill 11 Palestinians, Officials Say

Israeli forces carried out a series of airstrikes across the Gaza Strip on Sunday, killing at least 11 Palestinians, according to Palestinian health authorities.

The strikes targeted:
A displaced families’ tent encampment in northern Gaza.

Multiple locations in Khan Younis in the south and Gaza City in the north.

The attacks occurred despite a previously brokered ceasefire, which has seen repeated violations from both sides. Israel stated the strikes were in response to ceasefire breaches by Palestinian armed groups, while Palestinian factions accused Israel of using disproportionate force.

In a related development, the Israeli government approved a plan to register certain West Bank lands as “state property”, a move analysts say could heighten tensions in the region.

Authorities have warned that the ongoing violence continues to have a serious impact on civilians, despite the ceasefire agreement reached in October 2025, which had temporarily reduced hostilities.
