Trump Announces U.S. to Send Additional Aircraft Carrier to Middle East

Washington, D.C. – U.S. President Donald Trump Donald Trump has confirmed that the United States will deploy an additional aircraft carrier, USS Gerald R. Ford, to the Middle East to strengthen the U.S. naval presence.

The carrier will join the USS Abraham Lincoln already in the region. The move comes amid rising tensions between the U.S. and Iran, particularly over Iran’s nuclear program and missile development.
